James is a Principal Consultant at Hippo Digital, currently helping Ofgem adopt more agile, user-centred ways of working. Prior to that he spent 20 years in the Civil Service in a broad variety of roles.

Over the past three years he has been focussed on building and leading the Policy Lab at the Department for Work and Pensions.
